My business name is a tribute to my late mother Elizabeth (Liz). My mother was truly an amazing and an inspirational figure in my life and would often say “waste not, what not” (God’s blessings).  My first career was as an Architect/Civil Engineer; however, a second career caring for my husband, two daughters, and two sons became my vocation. While both careers were challenging they were also rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Now that the nest is empty and Covid-19 has affected my life and many others, I have decided to exercise my creative talents that God has gifted me by starting a business. I incorporated butterflies into the logo of Bella Liz in memory of my mother because she loved butterflies. Everything I have created, including starting this business, was done with love, encouragement, and inspiration from my mother.
